Q/. Who are Kennel Sales?

A/. Kennel Sales was established early in 1985, AND is still under the same ownership.  As agents we are members of the National Association of Estate Agents and the Institution of Commercial and Business Agents, and are therefore bound to conduct all business under their codes and ethics.  However, and possibly more important to both vendors and buyers, we are owners ourselves of a large successful boarding kennel and cattery.  We therefore also have a practical working knowledge and understanding of what we sell.

Q/. Will Kennel Sales be interested in my kennels or cattery business?
A/. Definitely; we are interested in all boarding kennels and catteries, we offer a nationwide service irrespective of size, consistently handling boarding businesses ranging from £100,000 - £2,000,000.  No boarding business is either too small or too large!

A/. Having been established for 25 years with a high level of success, we are always receiving a steady number of referrals and recommendations.  We advertise regularly in Dog World, Our Dogs, Daltons Weekly, Kennel & Cattery Management, Your Dog, Your Cat, and The Kennel Gazette.  Occasionally we advertise in daily national newspapers if we think necessary.  We are also known to the large animal organisations, (RSPCA, NCDL, Guide Dogs for the Blind, FAB, and The Kennel Club). We are also very proud of our Internet Website (http://www.kennelsforsale.co.uk/) which normally attracts well in excess of 100,000 “individual property hits” each month.  We are confident that we have the largest database of awaiting potential buyers, some have cash and some in rented accommodation, all eagerly awaiting the right property.

Q/. Are there vetting procedures to ensure that applicants view only properties they can afford?
A/. We at Kennel Sales attempt to gain as much financial background as possible about all our applicants.  Then, knowing their financial starting point, we can try to help and guide them to properties they can afford, and a successful purchase.  Hopefully cutting down wasting YOUR time with unsuitable applicants.

Q/. Once a sale is agreed is there any form of backup service?
A/. We have excellent independent financial contacts who regularly help us with mortgage advice.  We liaise with all parties, including solicitors, and carefully monitor the sale to a successful conclusion.

Q/. If my property is already on the market, is it worth instructing Kennel Sales?
A/. Yes it is.  Kennel Sales have a more positive, personal approach to today’s changing market conditions.  Our register of about 100 properties (all kennels and catteries) is constantly attracting a continual number of potential buyers, we may therefore already have the potential buyer for your business on our constantly changing database.  Taking on as many new properties as we do, changing our website on a daily basis, usually promotes rapid results.

Q/. If I instruct Kennel Sales to sell my kennels, what about their fees?
A/. Kennel Sales fees are not only competitive, there are no hidden charges or extras.  We operate a "No Sale = No Fee" policy.  Details of our charges are available upon request.
We NEVER advertise locally, and NEITHER do we ask for payment or contribution towards advertising costs. 

Q/. Are Kennel Sales successful?
A/. Yes, one can never guarantee time scales, but we like to think that our sales successes speak for themselves.  A number of our competitors leave details of SOLD properties amongst the properties they are trying to sell, thus giving them the appearance of being bigger or more successful than they actually are.  Selling as many properties as we do, rather than allowing them to get in the way, we now have a separate booklet (for vendors eyes only) or, when on our website, a choice is given when making a selection within the property search. 

Q/. What advantages are there to instructing Kennel Sales to act for me?
